Julius Son is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur. Julius is currently a Managing Partner and sits on the investment committee for Los Angeles-based TOO Capital, a Single Family Office investing in TMT and Consumer opportunities. He is also the CEO of ICC Hospitality, the holding company for Seoul Meat Co., a Korean-American national chain of experiential dining, with current locations in CA, WA, FL and UT. Julius is also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LNE LLC, a Southern California-based multi-brand fashion retailer Tenshoppe and children’s wear platform - Ububba, and NOA Retail Holdings, a fashion accessories retail chain. Being immersed in the retail and consumer space, Julius also Co-Founded SKS Capital Partners, a Century City-based Venture Studio, focused on incubating emerging analytical and technology enabled retail and consumer opportunities.
Prior, Julius was a Senior Vice-President at $1.5B+ Landmark Infrastructure Partners, a strategic Joint-Venture partner of Brookfield Asset Management, where he was on the investment committee involved in setting investment strategies for core infrastructure assets for Landmark Dividend Growth Fund and publicly traded (NASDAQ: LMRK), a growth-oriented master limited partnership that acquires, develops and manages a portfolio of real property interest for the renewable power generation and wireless communication industries. Before Landmark, Julius was Senior Director at RCCI Investments, a Los Angeles based Single Family Office, where he headed acquisitions and originations of equity, mezzanine debt, and other subordinate debt secured by real estate assets and operating companies. Prior to that, Julius worked as a senior executive in Corporate M&A for the Red Chamber Group ($2.5B+ food and beverage conglomerate) and Harvey Equity Partners as a health-tech and business services associate specializing in middle-market M&A.
Julius is involved in various nonprofits, serving as a Regional Partner for Olive Crest and the Chang-Son Foundation for the Arts at Cornell University. Julius graduated with a B.S. in Bio-Engineering and B.A. in Economics with Highest Honors from the University of California, San Diego and currently resides in Beverly Hills, CA with his wife and two young children.
